Class Project for Advanced Typography

Inspired by Faith Ringgold posters I saw while studying abroad in Paris, I used black acrylic paint and sharpie to illustrate the images, display type, and patterns before scanning them and creating a dust jacket layout and interior cover digitally. This process reflects the design methods used in civil and gay rights protest art during the highlighted time period of the book.
